I have a 72 Chevelle Malibu and love the front end of the 70 Chevelle. Will the 70 fender extensions bolt right on to the 72 body or will it take some welding and adjusting.

I just did this for my 71' You will need alot of parts :D To get it done you will need to replace the radiator core support or the second set of lights will not fit. A new wire harness for the extra lights, or if your handy with wiring you can go to a pick n' pull like I did and take the ends for the high beams off another car and wire them in, not too difficult. The extensions, the bezels, and you will need to make new holes so the extensions will mount to the fenders, the mounts are alot different. My crap STILL isnt straight, im still trying to finish this. :D Would I do it again, Its a toss up.

My suggestion LEAVE that 72 looking like a 72. Everybody and their dog has a 70, but not everyone has a 72. But then again thats my opinion. I would also paint it red with black stripes

Keep in mind you wont have the marker lamps any more, unless you cut them into the 72 fenders.

a 71 looks better than the 72 that is only my opinion. very easy swap. just grill and parklight bezels

True a lot of people have a 70 Chevelle but not everyone has a 72/70.Going to the junkyard sometime this week too see what I can get. Thanks for the help everyone graemlins/thumbsup.gif .PS: Its primer grey right now going to paint it black with white stripes before school starts up.
