I pulled the front clip off my '64 about 2 years ago. I have completed a number of upgrades & now the starter will not turn over. I have listed below all of the upgrades to the system that I have made. I could use some ideas as to what to try next. Any suggestions?
NEW Ignition Switch, Dash Harness, Front Light Harness, Engine Harness,Voltage Regulator, Horn Relay, Battery, Negative Battery Cable, MSD Distributor, Pertronix Coil, Rebuilt Starter w/New Solonoid (bench tested twice to be sure it worked properly). I have an updated system with an alternator w/external voltage regulator. One issue is that there are (2) wires (1) Red & (1) Black coming out of the harness @ the Voltage Regulator/Horn Relay. Not sure where these go. If someone could sketch what attaches to the Relay would help. The '64 Chevelle wiring diagram does not show an alternator set up. Any help would be apprieciated.
