I just finished fighting this same thing about 5 minutes ago. Evidently, you cant post images directly from yahoo. I was trying to do the same thing you are.

looks great! i'm thinking of doing aframe off on my 67 ss. how did you restore your frame and what did you paint it with? any pointers would be helpful!

Nice garage/workshop too! Is that thing heated so you can work during the winter?

I had my frame sand blasted and then used POR-15 with POR chassis black paint on top.

What's your plans for painting it?

i had my frame sandblasted,it was a good frame no rust pits so it didnt need any real prep ,but before i sandblasted it i cleaned up the welds,the day the sandblasting was done i picked it up and hung it in the shop cleaned it then epoxy primed 2 coats and in 1 HR i painted the frame with black enamel with flatner added to it ,i am thinking yellow mabe blue,or red metalic,but im a little reded out,all will be in base clear

that is a old smokey unic made by edelbrock,i wanted one 25 yrs ago and i finaly got one ,will see how it works,i allways thought they look mean and racy :cool:
