I felt for the reporter, he seemed to be walking on egg shells. Is it me or do you get the feeling that Jay kind of has an atitude that seems to be I am better than you?

Neat video. I think he looks like an entertainer who has many engagements going on all the time - and sometimes there are more demands on his time than he has energy. Is this not part of the reason that he wishes to retire from the Tonight show, so that he can actually enjoy himself without all the time pressures?

Jay really does go to a good number of car shows in California, I leave him alone so that he can enjoy his time with his friends. The interviewer in that video is a wussy, obviously not asking the kinds of questions that Jay would like.

He was probably annoyed that he couldn't be left alone to enjoy the day at the car show.

Jay strikes me as a "regular guy", who has happened to make A LOT OF MONEY, that can afford to buy what most of us dream about.

His comment "it's only original ONCE" hits home, and the one about the starry eyed kid drooling over the car seems to cement this.

I wouldn't say hungover or stoned, just very tired and would like to be "just another collector" at the event.

Very cool guy. I saw his stand up show once and laughed my a$$ off. Unrestricted by network TV he is hillarious.

I have had the opportunity to spend a little time with Jay on two occasions.

He looks exhausted to me when I watch the video. One time I spent some time with him he was just like this video but with a little more energy. The 2nd time he was very animated.

He really is a down to earth guy who loves cars like we do. It was just like talking to someone you have known for a long time.

If i remember right he doesnt drink or smoke,seems to be down to earth to me.

It looks to me he slept in his clothes, maybe on a personal bus or something.

nice to know that he is a regular guy. I appriciate and share his interest in cars. If you are going to pick up a hobby, and can afford to enjoy it, he found a good one.

jay is not only one of the most approachable people, he goes out of his way to approach others. i've seen jay on many occasions, he frequents where the car guys and bikers hang, and he always has time for everybody, answers all questions, wether he's riding his jet bike or that huge buick, he is as regular a guy as you can come across, he just happens to make 14 mill a year...
