my 67 chevelle and a biug air filter but it hit the distrubiter cap and now i had to put a small filter on last summer and i know this is prolly robing my engine of power.... does n e one know a place or a type of fileter that wouldnt hi the distrubiter cap???

Get a smaller diameter air filter or a different distributor with a smaller cap. Those HEI's take up alot of space....or you can get a spacer under your air filter, raise it up a little, might clear the distributor cap then??

i think if i put a spacer id have to get a diffrent hood
