Hey all ... I purchased a 70 402 that is basically stock. Can anyone help me with some of the numbers.

CARB: ROCHESTER - 7040202 DH (under that # is 7889) -- I believe its the 350/300HP

Exhaust Manifolds: RH Side 39616178
LH Side 3892307

Intake: 3965287

My question is are these correct for the 1970 402?

I have a 70 El Camino SS 396 (which is a 402 block) and the intake that you have is the correct number. The carb should be 7040204 but the 7040202 maybe be correct also. The exhaust manifolds I am going to have to double check the numbers as I do not remember them off the top of my head.

Chevy by the numbers list that carb 7040202 as a 1970 350/300hp automatic.So you are correct. It is not for a 402.
The rh exhaust manifold is 3916178 is correct for 70
The Lh should be 3909879.
your 3892307 is for 66-67 396/427
