Eastwood states this gun needs 13.9cfm at 50psi. My 60 gallon compressor has 12.1cfm at 40psi. The FinishLine seem to need less, but I've read some trash about them in previous posts. Your help is appreciated before I toss $ away. Thanks

Chris,
Sharpe makes nice guns.. If your compressor is as you state, you'll be better off buying the low volume platinum HVLP from Sharpe.. check out the message boards at www.sharpe1.com (http://www.sharpe1.com) the resident expert is extremely helpful and will help you buy remanufactured guns at HALF the price as new.. I did the same thing and I am happy to say I have had NO problems!!!! Good Luck

Chris; Iv'e got a cobalt with a 1.5 nozzle. I have a 5hp compressor 6.8 cfm @ 90 that has a 25 gallon tank. I added an additional 80 gallon tank to it and I find that I can spray just fine with the cobalt. I probably could'nt spray the side of a panel van without stopping to let the compressor catch-up but Iv'e sprayed out the contents of the cup with little stops in between to move around and such with no problems at all. I also tightened up the on-off differential on the compressor so that it's not waiting to drop 30 PSI before it starts back up. I like the gun very much!! Mike, M22
