There is plenty of Vacuum at the base of the carb for power brakes.

Bob's right. Just pull your vaccuum from under the carb. I'm running my 68 like this.

Vortech keep in mind, it's boost below the vanes, vacuum above them.

Thanks guys for the inf. The base of the carbs seems to be the only logical spot for the vacuum hose, unless the girlfriend/wife is very good at sucking the hose http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

I am interested in details. Are there any plate kits available, or is it a DIY job?

Bob B. Do you have PS and AC as well?

Thanks again!

Yes I do have PS and factory AC. I'm using a B&M Powercharger on my 68 Malibu but the Jimmy blower should be the same principle. The B&M unit comes with a small tapped hole above the rotors which I bored out and tapped to 7/16. I'm using this for my PCV and the stock hose fitting on the back of the Holley carb for the power brake line.
