I loaded up the car on the trailer this friday and made the 10 hour round trip to the nearest 1/4 mile track, what a blast!! (I usually race at the airport 1/8 mile, very traction limited, makeshift track, but still a load of fun). I was happy with the results in et but I thought my mph was going to be a couple mph higher.

It was a Street Legal Race night, so there was no track bite or prep at all but I still hooked up better than usual, my usual is between 1.76 and 1.8 unless I really spin out, They almost said I couldn't race because my drag radials were to bald. I guess you need 1/32 tread left, and I had about 0/32 tread give or take a little.LOL
How does my slip look compared to my combo that's listed in my signature.

no I changed the gears to 4:10, I was going through the traps at about 6000 rpm. I'll have to change my signature.
