Does anyone have any recommendations? I need to get a car inspected in Dyersburg TN....unless one of you lives close by and could go look at the car for me?? It's the 64 SS in the other posting I authored.

I'd prefer to use someone with a slant towards classic cars rather than just the people that ebay recommend.

I had one of the services listed on eBay check out a 68 GTO my dad was interested in. They took a crap load of pictures and sent back a comprehensive report. Definitely seemed worth the money and the peace of mind.

...until the first time my dad started the car after having it delivered and it had a viscous crank knock once warm and no oil pressure. :(

Take what they have to say with a grain of salt. It's not THEIR money they're spending, it's yours.

They look to be pretty thorough. I used a lower end one for a C5 vette a while back and had acceptable results.
