Don't know exactly what year you're considering but on a '66 & '67...NO...not the same.

A coupe windshield is slightly taller due to the extra leanback. The shape of the pillars and the windshield around the cowl and dash area is the same ;)

Boy, I am not going to put any money on it but I believe they are the same, no on second thought I will bet a dollar. smile.gif

Just as 64-65 are the same, ALL "A" body windshields are the same, Two door, fourdoor, ElCamino, Wagon, ALL MAKES, Buick Skylark-Special-Sport wagon, Chevy Chevelle-Malibu, Olds Cutless-F-85, Pontiac Tempast-GTO and what ever else they call them.

I believe ALL 66-67 are the same as well.

68-69, Those "may" be different, but I'll go with a buck on them too being the same. smile.gif

I think Brian is close. Chev interchange Manual (Paul Herd).
Lists the same interchange # on windshields for all 64 &65 velles. Also shows same # for 2 door sedan & Elcamino. Hardtop and convert show different #.
In other words 66-67 2dr. ht. and convert. take the same windshield, all others will interchange 64 thru 67
Hope this helps.

I just bought a new windshield for my '67 one week ago.
It had to be ordered specifically for a 4 door sedan. Catalog listed a different part number for a 2 door...

Does this apply to the '68-'69 el Caminos as well? I'm looking at 4 door vent window assemblies for our '69 el Camino and don't know if they will work. Some say yes. Some say no.

the windshield is the same on the hardtop as the elky
4 doors are different and convertables are different from both (68 to 72 unsure about others)
the vent windows are found on 68 elky doors but a 69 to 72 door has none and would be a real joy trying to convert (almost impossible)
