Going to recover the seats myself in the 69. Iv done some recovering before but have not delt with any bottons before. I need your help on how to install the bottons on the new covers. I think the front has two on each four on the rear seat.

You're talking about the buttons that go on the backs, right? They will come with the covers, and they have a retainer on the back that snaps onto the back of the button. Just take the old covers off, find some good reference points (I would count the pleats to get the right location horizontally, then use the upper seam to measure the vertical position). Measure, measure again, and punch a small hole in the new cover. Put the button in the hole, install the retainer and that's it. Note: Don't use a knife to cut the hole, use a nail or something with a sharp point. If you cut the threads in the vinyl, it might tear later on.

It's no big deal at all, you'll see what I'm talking about when you look at how the buttons are made.

Thank you for the info. I went and opened the bag and you are right they were there. Now that I know what to do I will be covering them next week.
