: Vinyl/Plastic interior "welting" ?? (on a '64)

Maybe I'm calling the stuff by the wrong name, but I'm curious to know about three items.

1) The molded plastic/vinyl strip that traps/pinches the upper windshield edge of the headliner between the "A" pillars. Mine was aged to "extra crispy" and stuck to the windshield sealant. Came out in pieces...

2) Almost like a compression gasket/strip. It's color-coded to the interior, and is a 2nd component of the door opening pinch molding that runs from the sill, up the edge of the kick panel, and to the top of the "A" pillar.

3) Any help about what material or pieces that trim out the rear window opening on a '64 El Camino. Mine are all missing.

Thanks in Advance!!

Plastic Interior Headliner Seal Strips

The only color that I have found is black but can be painted.

This is called Windlace or door jam windlace.
Some places sell this in different colors.

Year One should have the windlace strips. Go here to see if they have something for you:

Thanks guys, the answer to #2 was 1/2 correct.

The piece I'm looking for (not windlass/pinch molding) is a flexible vinyl molding that goes on the sheetmetal edge first, then the windlass traps it. It's like a gasket or wind seal from the body to the door panel. Goes from the sill plate to the base of the "A" pillar.

That interior trim around the rear window was plastic and probably crumbled away 20 years ago. Its still there on mine but I'm afraid to stare at it--it might disintegrate
