What should I be using...Tried and tested Holley 800's or the "Amazing on blowers" Predator carb?I have been using holley's for a couple of years now;but they are due for rebuilding.I just picked up 2 used Predators that I was going to try but no one can tell me what will make the power...on a blower motor.I would like to know my best option.Having a carb blueprinted isn't cheap neither is dyno time.I would like to only do it once.

Just had two Barry Grant Mighty Demon 750 blower carbs installed on an 8-71 468 and should see the chassis dyno results tomorrow morning at the local tuner shop. I had 750 Holleys on it that were not set up for a blower, they still had the choke horns intact, no blower mods, vacuum secondaries, etc. The price to have them milled and tuned was comparable to the price of one new carb so I went with the new BG's. I had a local shop install and tune the carbs since I have not had a supercharged engine before.

I'll let you know how it turns out. The mechanic said they really work well in regard to idle, throttle response, etc. so I'll see more tomorrow.

when i had my blower motor and looked into the blower specific carbs some years back i was told by holley they offered to models one with 10.5 power valves and one with none . lotta money for them changes . buy regular carbs and eaither run power valves or jet up without them and block em off
