Car is a '72 SS, and exterior is code 48 (Sequoia Green) with an incorrect white convertible top boot. I need a correct boot, but I'm uncertain of the name of the interior color. Jade Green? Dark Green? Expert opinions needed!

Hate is such an ugly word! Green huh? Man, how did I miss that one? Good to year from 'ya Ted. Maybe I'll haul (or drive) the green machine to CB2006 next summer. Terrible news about Chuck & LaRae's son.... :(

Chevrolet By The Numbers shows only one green interior color available for your convertible and it is called "dark green". That would be the match for a trim code of 713 as other interior colors were available as you may know.

FYI.....the interior color would not dictate whether your top is white or black. Are you sure it is not white?

Missed the point about "boot" color vs. top in my response but at least you have the name for the "green".

Thanks Hawk! I checked out the Chevy By The #'s book, and see what you've said about the interior color name: Dark Green! Now I can order a correct top boot.

I think the white boot looks GREAT on the Sequoia Green body....but my opinion may be a little biased:D .

It certainly does, but it should be them same color as the interior to be correct.

Correct or not, the white boot IMO would be my choice. A little too much "green" for my tastes.
