: has anyone changed the metal package tray on 70 michael n mississippi Mar 14th, 04, 9:18 PM well more rust to contend with . has anyone here changed out the metal package tray behind the rear seat. mine is bad at top close to the rear glass area. was also wondering if one from a olds or pontiac donor same model would work? thanks again street/strip68 Mar 17th, 04, 5:40 PM I replaced mine on the 68. Lot's of work but not too tough overall. My package tray was trashed and all cut up by the previous owner who decided to mount 10" speakers back there. The heavy rust was on the typical chevelle rust areas. Just take your time to fit properly. Fortunately I have a decent parts car to pick from.
