I have a 70 Chevelle set up for the track.(1/4 mile).Was wondering if anyone new how to wire the alternator.Seems the wires have been cut.I was told thier is a way you can wire it using one wire.So if anyone has any suggestions i am all ears!

70 had an externally regulated alt. Do you know if your's has been upgraded to an internally regulated one, 10SI or 12SI? If so it can be converted to a 1 wire setup, not that best but for strictly 1/4 mile racing it should be ok.
Go here http://www.madelectrical.com/ and read the techinfo. Has pic of the 10SI and 12SI so you can determine what you have. Also has tech articles on wiring these up.

The link provided will work assuming you have an internally regulated alt. Have you determined what type of alt you have?
