Thumbs up Much thanks to NPD !!!! Great customer service.

About two weeks ago I ordered the Chevelle dual exhaust hanger kit, p/n C-3616-105SK from NPD in Charlotte.
When installing this kit on my '66 Sedan earlier this week, I noticed the tail pipe hangers are not correct and no matter what I could not get them to work.
I also noticed on the kit parts box that this kit actually comes from Pypes.

I called NPD-Charlotte today to discuss this issue...spoke with a very helpful gentleman named Paul. After understanding my problem, he suggested I call Pypes directly which I then did.

Come to find out this hanger kit is Pypes p/n HGH-31 which includes the HGH-11 tail hangers. Per Pypes, this kit is for a '68-72 Chevelle only...not for the '64-'72 models as is advertised in the NPD catalog.
The correct tail pipe hanger for the early '64-'67 models is p/n HGH-10...and the correct complete dual hanger kit is Pypes p/n HGH-30.

Anyhow, after getting off the phone with the Pypes Tech line, I then called NPD's Paul back and relayed all the info I had just found. Paul mentioned that a correction would be noted on what years this kit actually covers.

NPD also has agreed to refund me back a portion of the kit price so I can order the correct tail hangers directly from Pypes which are not offered right now from NPD.

Great customer service!!!
