Looks pretty close to yours. By the way you were having problems a year or two ago trying to get your car started. What did it turn out to be.

71 Malibu, 396BBC, 4 speed, 12 bolt.

Which problem? The wheel hop or the distributor?
The distributor problem,I believe, was the MSD coil.
And the wheel hop was my air shocks,I think they were too low.Plus, the radiator I found the bottom bolts were lose. That`s why the fan blew through it.
It`s always something.

Beautiful car, love the color combo. I hope he gets his asking price, but i don't think their are many $35000 1964s out there. I love them and I know spinshop does, but we seem to be in the minority. I think realistically $28000 to $30000.

Re: 1964 ss

Usually it was the rear upper control arms being on too much of a vertical angle due to the car setting higher than factory height. I dont know if they still make them, but they used to call them "No Hopp Bars", and they would raise the rear end mount up almost parallel to the frame. It fixed the faulty GM geometry to the point of where it eliminated wheel hop. I still have a set on my 65. 64s and 65s are also my favorite years, and I can see him getting 30K for that great looking car. The nice ones are getting Harder and harder to find for a reasonable price.
