'69 LM1 Convertible

I like this one...red on red, has the LM1 4-bbl 350 (which mandated the 12-bolt rear), and looks pretty unmolested.

The big question is what the seller thinks it's worth. Judging by the description, the car is solid but needs the typical stuff for a car that's been stored for years.

If it's as solid as the seller claims, I'm guessing it will go for $18k give or take a few grand. What do you guys think?

I like it a lot except for the PG trans. I think that shade of red is brighter than the original Garnet Red and the SS side stripe doesn't work for me. Even so I bet it easily gets to over $20k.

Von I agree with the stripe. Very few things could take more away from the car................unless its those exhaust tips.

steering wheel has some type of leather wrap to hide cracks??
having a sbc 350, PG trans, PS, and manual brakes can make a nice driver
boring till up to cruise speed
but even at a $20K purchase price, the buyer could sink another $10-20K into it to make it really nice...

Re: '69 LM1 Convertible

I think seller is $5K-$7K high with his price. Perfect time of year to be selling a convertable. Another example of a poor ad at least the ebay ad.Seller makes claims of no rust underneath and perfect frame. Then show it. Pictures are a mediocre at best. Also talks some BS about a big block and putting 20's on the car. Personally I wouldnt do it with this car and who gives a crap. Has no place in the ad. Should be professional ad brokers for ebay people that dont have a clue. Especially for someone wanting big money for a car.

Re: '69 LM1 Convertible

It looks almost just like my 69 convertible, same colors but mine is a factory turbo 350, bucket seat/console car. Mine looks in much better condition. If I could get his price ($32000) I would sell it today.
