Nice looking car. Most of the hard to find under the hood stuff is there.
If it is as it appears I'm guessing a little higher. $40-60K......
The 72 U Code cars are a rare find.
Bummer about the POP, that's huge. Love the car, wish it were a 4spd. Would like to see suffix and any paperwork in the ad. As is, if real: 55-60K neighborhood.
I used to have a 72 Monte Carlo that was similar in that it was Cream Yellow with a white vinyl top. Amazing how much fresh paint and top wakes up the color combo! Very nice.
Nothing really, it just designates (5th character in vin) the motor installed at GM plant, in this case a 402 (LS3). As a W would indicate a 454 and so on. Here's a link, check it out for a good read: 1972 Chevelle VINS
I was in conversation with the owner on this car and auction, very nice Gentleman. Collected some good basic info on it. The car has been pulled from the auction. She sure was sweet !
Really nice resto w/great color combo. Must of settled a deal off Ebay, probably brought some good $$,$$$.
