Re: 1970 SS396 To Good To Be True?
whenever I see post like this I kind of laugh. Im a firm believer in you snooze you lose. It doesnt cost anything to call and worst case you waste a couple hours driving to look at a pile of junk, BUT if you dont go you'll never know. A few years back there was a 69 Z28 advertised in the paper for $700. Been sitting, no title but the guy was willing to give a bill of sale etc. I went and looked at it and it wasnt a Z28 but a SS350 with a 4 speed,12 bolt and a SS hood. I could not talk my wife into letting me drag it home that night. I heard from another guy that called the next morning that it was sold by 6 am. (only reason I got there first was I worked at the paper and we printed the classifieds the evening before). Still wished I could have got that one. jim
