65 Chevelle for sale

I looked at a 65 today, Mist Blue, very nice shape no rust. Its been parked in the garage all it's life, trunk and floor pans are like new. Car was bought in Seattle new, he has the origional window sticker. It was repainted about 7 years ago but still looks very nice. 283-220hp turbo 350, has disk brakes and master/booster set up. All glass is great, new looking interior, everything works all new felts and moldings when painted last. 17" wheels and tires brand new. He wants an offer, what do you think it's worth.

Welcome to TC, Glenn. The boys around these halls are going to want pictures!
The more the better! Is that possible? If it's what you say it is, it sounds like a pretty special car.

Re: 65 Chevelle for sale

Your in the right place but as stated before pictures would help alot.
It's not an original car as the trans./brakes/wheels have been upgraded.
A photo of the "trim tag" along with the VIN # would also be helpful.

you know what? i have a problem with cars sold in this manner. seems guys like this aren't really trying to sell. give me a price, if i can afford it, or think it's worth it, i'll tell others. but make me an offer.... i just hate that.... in socal, a car in the condition your describing, start at about 11k, and can go as high as mid 20's depending on condition and options. pics would be good, it helps these guys who know a lot more than i do, keep you from getting ripped off....

The car has a 136 vin. sorry no pics yet, but car is very streight and no dings paint is local car show quality. I pinned him down to a bottom dollar of 18.7k thanks for the replies. Glenn PS - it's going to an auction Fri. so I have to do it soon, or let it go and see if anyone buys it, hard call.

unless it's showroom condition, let it go to auction. making a stressed decision, may have you end up with a car with hidden problems. i'm seeing a ot of these cars come up lately, and they are getting a little more resonable, heck i might even find a clean one i can afford.
