She's running a NOM 69 427, but man what a pretty car. I've never seen the color.

Happy motoring!

that was the closest color to black in '72 which wasn't offered in '72 except for stripes.

He wants 29.5K for the car... Just in case you were wondering. I asked about the stance of the car (being high in the rear) I thought they put in the wrong springs or had air shocks. No air shocks, correct springs and the guy also said they have since lowered the rear about an inch post taking the photo's. I dd not ask how...

29.5K is quite a bit for that car. Has those non SS moldings in the middle of the grille too..I hate when people do that!
It is a pretty car though..I bet it doesn't have a U or W in the VIN# so IMHO it is a 20K car

actually that IS a 'W' car a true SS 454

I also hate the 'extra' grille mouldings.

I take it he sent you the VIN?

Whole other topic altogether, but does it really matter that it used to be a 454 when the original motor's long gone?

I guess for authentification reasons, but does it really even matter then?

Happy motoring!

without making this one of those threads......the 'W' indicates that the car is a true SS.

in this case............nothing more
