How much to restore this? What is it worth to buy?

My good buddy Tory, who is going to look at the car in NY for me, recommended this car to me. I explained to him that I don't know the first thing about restoration, but he made some good points and pointed out the benefits of restoring a vehicle yourself.

I know it's damn near impossible to give an exact price on how much a car will cost to restore, however, I'm looking for some people with experience to chime in. Based on the pictures, what are you looking at, total cost to restore this beast.

Also, how much would you pay for the car, as it is, right now?

With the excitement level you are showing about ownership I reccomend you not consider any project. This is certainly nice original "grandmas" car but is so far away from what you want it would well out of your budget. I dought you would ever finish it.

You are on the right track, impatience as you are, by looking for a built car. Let someone else absorb the hickey. As experienced as I am,40 cars last 20 years, I do not want another project.

Depends what you want.

That car would make a way cool sleeper. If U want an ss clone, I'd find another car.

Good Luck!!
