1958 chevrolet impala 348 tri power

One repaint for sure, but it looks all original, wonderbar, big round air clean around the 3 carbs, auto trans big whites?

Looks like speedo rolled over a 100k, black paint but kind of dirty and not a good paint job, otherwise a pretty decent car.

Any ideas on what shes worth, I can get it.
Just took a quick look no visible rust it might be a good one.

Its only 5 miles from where I live.

Thanks in advance,

Rob

Those are big dollar cars too arent they? I think nice ones go for 30K easily nowdays.

I only found 2 real 58 Imapala coupes for sale, both 348 cars, both restored, both in the high 40s to low 50s

Re: 1958 chevrolet impala 348 tri power

I really don't know, I should get a price on it tomorrow. It even had one of those kleenex dispensers in it, mounted under the dash. Sure was a big air cleaner around those carbs, bolted down in the back, looks like the real thing, I think. Another thing mounted on the dash on the left side, maybe a stop light notifier or automatic dimmer, only looked at it for a few minutes.

Re: 1958 chevrolet impala 348 tri power

I wonder how many had the tri power on them, I didn't know they did, but I saw or rather rode in a new 69 pontiac catalina with tri power, black two door, what a car.

That is probably the coolest engine setup ever. Those motors and the 409 alone sell for around 9g's on e-bay.

Re: 1958 chevrolet impala 348 tri power

Rob;
A decent drive will bring big $$$ on those '58 Impala 2doors...... They were a one year car, the new generation Chevy sandwiched between the '55-'57 new young look era...... and the long finned Impalas of '59 & '60. Ask what he wants for it and get back to us with more info about the car. If it's a driver and you can get this car for around 10K-12K jump on it!!! ...Good Luck

By the way........ That air cleaner alone will fetch $1200-$1500 on e-bay and another $1500-$1800 for the manifold/carbs/linkage setup.
