My 66 Wagon

Hey all here is my 66 Wagon, it's a nice driver with some cool factory options. Electric windows and roof rack. 327/350 front disc with drop spindles. Needs a few things but she's a fun cruiser. Going to swap out the 16x8 Boyds for some Rally wheels with rings and hubcaps. Looking forward to picking the brains of the knowledge base here!

Welcome to Team Chevelle.....

Beautiful wagon!.....

When I works, I works hard.
When I sits, I sits loose.
When I thinks, I falls asleep.

Re: My 66 Wagon

Thanks! Yeah wagons arent the 'go to' muscle car but I've always had a soft spot for them. My first car was a 67 Chevelle wagon that my dad gave me when I turned 16. It was a ratty pos it but it got me around for a year.

Nice ride! We're doing a 67 wagon, with an overabundance of patina. Put in a 327 and a TH350. disc brakes, power steering.........heading to the exhaust shop soon. We put on ralleys with caps and rings, too.
Look forward to seeing you somewhere in So. Cal. Do you do Pomona?

Might make it out there sometime this summer, we have a ton of stuff up near me, I'm in the Thousand Oaks area, so I don't have to go too far. Question for you, I need new door seals are the 4 door Chevelle door seals the same as the wagon?

Looking forward to seeing yours, I love that patina look.

Re: My 66 Wagon

Not sure on door seals, but I suspect they are different. I've heard the doors are different on a wagon, at the top. We're not that far along with ours yet.
We've done the Pomona Swap Meet in October for years. Always bring a car to sell......that gets us in on Saturday morning.

Re: My 66 Wagon

some 14s might........some were made for disc brake clearance..........be careful. Make sure they fit before you buy them. Otherwise, 15s aren't that hard to find at swap meets........or, go see the ralley wheel guy at Pomona, he's there every time. His name is Paul. I've bought a number of sets from him. His prices are reasonable, and if you tell him about your car, he'll set you up with the correct backspace and everything. He always has rings and caps, too.

Great thanks man. I'll have to make it out to Pomona and look him up.
