Length and Width Body Measurements for 1970-1972 Chevelles?

Whats Is The Length And Width Of The Chevelle Years 1970-1972? I Have A Garage Thats Pretty Small And Want To Make Sure The Chevelle Will Fit....thanks

Give yourself at least 18 feet long and 6.5 - 7 feet wide to fit it in a garage. The car is about 17.5 feet long and roughly 6 feet wide.

Yes, I got those from my 70. Like I said, it's a rough estimate, not exact. If you like I can get the exact tomorrow.

I was having a very similar discussion a few weeks ago. But, it was only for the overall length. It was determined that 203 inches was the total length for a 71-72 Chevelle, Coupes and converts.

1971 Chevelle
540BBC
TH400 w/ 10" 3500 Hughes
12 Bolt w/ 3.55's
Best so far: 11.09@120.97 (Smokin' Mo-Kan Dragway, Hot Rod Reunion, 10-07-2012)
