1969 vinyl top trim.

Anyone have any detailed photos or a diagram of what pieces of the 69 vinyl top trim and where they go? I have a guy that has a collection of trim and moldings off several old parts cars and doesn't remember which parts go where and if there are any pieces that are missing. Some he suspects may even be for 70-72. Some good photos or a diagram would really help him out. He also has a few drip rail moldings as well but I don't know the difference between the moldings that are for the vinyl top cars and ones that did not have the top. Apparently they are different. Hoping to help him out and determine that as well. So any help would be appreciated. Assembly manual didn't really help us much.

Chris,

I have the original molding on my 69. I can tell you there are 7 pieces total. 2 of them screw on behind the quarter window with the window felt, then there are 2 that hug the upper body line of the quarters, 2 corner pieces, and 1 across the back. I can get pics up close if you need them.

FWIW you can get repro corner pieces but AFAIK those are the only ones available in repro. They are chromed pot metal and the rest are stainless that can usually be polished and restored if not too dented or bent.
