Angry 1966 Chevelle SS Engine bay pictures

I am looking for some one who has a 1966 Chevelle SS 396 360 hp that has some pictures of the engine bay compartment that's correct. I bought this car in Boxes and the front clip was also off, and want to know how it should look...! I am a little lost....Help...!

I agree, there are some minor things incorrect in your engine bay Keith. Although I'm not an advocate of chalk marks over the black paint, your markings are very authentic appearing, very well done.

there may be but from what I started with and how I built the car to drive its not too bad

I found chalk marks on my fire wall here is a shot after cleaning

Thats exactly what I am looking for, As I also want to be able to Stop...! I went with power Disc Brake's. As Car had Drum brake's non-power and No power steering..! If possible could you just take a few pictures of the radiator support where the horns and relays etc. are ...! Thank's I really appreciate it..! Clint

I wasn't criticizing your work Keith, not in any way, just imfo for the OP concerning originality.
My advice for the op is to buy an assembly manual, it'll give you diagram after diagram as to what the factory built. It also gives the correct wiring diagram and ground wire connections, invaluable!

Thanks I did buy all the Factory assembly manual, Body by Fisher, Chassis Service ManualChevelle SS restoration Guide both of them...But a real Picture to me, is so so helpfull compaired to a drawing. But Thanks for the advice.....And thanks to all that replyed.

Just a note on the 138 markings. When I took my heater box cover off to paint and the blower motor out for repair on my car the original 138 markings were on the firewall section that was hidden by the cover. So I would think the firewall markings could be just about anywhere depending upon plant..

Not sure of the power steering pressure hose that you are using; but I think the original is routed quite differently than Keith's photo. Maybe thats an old photo of Keiths.
