Im in the process of going from a TH350 to 700R4, i managed to find a 700R4 locally from a 91 caprice.
I already installed the shiftworks column to floor conversion kit and the bowtie overdrives TV EZ kit and lockup torque converter kit but i ran into an unexpected snag.
The donor 700R4 has a electric VSS spedo while my 69 chevelle is cable. Iv done some research but there seems to be conflicting info on whether the tail shaft housing itself needs to be changed from a mechanical spedo 700R4 or if i should use my current VSS tail shaft housing and just buy a kit and put everything inside?
