GM 12 bolt hsg

I have a 12 bolt hsg and cant figure out what year it is ???
The casting number 3894939 the other side there is a GM-8
I cant find anymore how about measurements??????
Any help would be great

There should be a casting date on the center section of the form:

A217 - Jan 21 1967
E37 - May 3 1967

Post that information.

I will check but according to the casting number 3894939 it is the early version of a 67 with flat perches Which would also explain someone welding some tophat looking holders on plate for rear spring
I never could figure out that that was about,?
Since someone had converted it to a leaf spring leaving the eyes on top and left over bottom tabs I want to convert it back for my car even though I will need a 10 bolt hsg to rob for perches Try to keep pinion angle the same it would make a nice addition for my car. Thanx Guys

the 939 housing can also be a 68. check the date casting. tom
