Harrison Radiator ID Numbers

I have two Harrison radiators that I am trying to locate the identification numbers for. I am assuming that they should appear on one of the brass tanks. Can anyone tell me where to look for the id numbers so I can look up their applications? Thanks

1968 72 CHEVELLE HARRISON AUTOMATIC TRANS

4 row radiator for automatic transmission cars
there may be XJ on the passenger side tank and IA on the driverside tank
option codes may differ on engines and trans application the tag on the rad
could have one of these codes depending on applications SW, BR, BO, BE, BK, BJ, BQ, PA, PD, UY, ZD, UH, FP, FS, LF, EC and LM
the info is hard to find .. what do you have 68 to 72 crossflows or pre 68 down flows ?

Re: Harrison Radiator ID Numbers

These are both down flow radiators. In other words, they have a top & bottom tank. I am trying to find out if either of these are a correct application for a 67 SS 396 Chevelle. One is a 3 core and the other is a 4 core. Thanks for your help.

I am confused

Are you trying to determine whether the two rads you have are CORRECT for a 67 SS Chevelle? If so, that will change the answers you get here...

Codes are different then other model years

Mark

Look at my web Site below and you will see what a Correct 66/67 SS Chevelle BB Rad. should look like... 66 and 67 are the same..

Tags if any are still attached.. not likely.. would be top inner tank and two letter code.. just tell us what they are and then we can help further... dealing with 68-72 Harrisons will not be helpful if it is a 67 you are looking at.
