64 Headliner Install

I was going to install my headliner this past weekend, but ran into a problem. I think there is supposed to be a secondary piece up by the windshield that the headliner gets glued to. Can you guys please confirm this? It looks like I have the piece by the rear window but not up front. I have looked around online and I cant seem to find anyone selling this part. Does anyone on here have an extra one, or know where I can get one? I have posted some pictures showing the front, rear, and side locations where I believe the headliner gets glued to.

Thanks,
Scott

Re: 64 Headliner Install

You are in need of the Tack Strips, Metal pieces with teeth to hold the headliner.

Re: 64 Headliner Install

Thank you for the reply. This is the first I am hearing about any of the strips having teeth on them. I know there are very small tack strips near the sail panels that require small staples, but nothing with teeth. Do you, or does anybody else have a picture of this strip up by the windshield? I was under the impression that is was just a strip to glue the headliner to.

Thanks,
Scott
