Rear Window Molding Install - Snap in? Glue

Are you supposed to use any glue for the rear window molding that rests on the rear package tray? Does it slide or snap on? First attempt didn't work out so well for me..... such a simple thing.... or so it seemed....Thanks

Are you taking about the weather strip that is made of rubber? If so, that just pushes on. You may have to squeeze it a bit so that it is a tight fit.

It should fit nice and snug. Sometimes they get a little stretched out of shape. There is steel pieces with in the rubber that will bend to tighten things up a bit. That weather strip is just like a piece of U shaped edge/ trim lock, but shaped differently.
