The guy said they were dart heads. I opened the valve covers and wrote down the numbers.

92
NH
W S/R
016 1-052

Are these World product heads? The S/R leads me to think they are.

Any ideas?

Rob,
I think there is a part number stamped in the end of the heads .. you should be able to call World Products with that number and they can tell you what they are. The numbers you have from under the valve covers are casting numbers. They are the same on a lot of thier heads and do not tell you much other than the fact that they are indeed SR heads.
Hope this helps,

You might be able to tell what they are by using the number Bill suggested and looking in a Jegs or Summit catalog. Alternatly, you could go to World's web site and look there. I think it is www.worldcastings.com or something like that. The number stamped should be the part number. If it is followed by a "B" they were bought bare and build by someone other than World.

I remember that my Dart S/R's had some number and the letters "W S/R" cast in them, and I always assumed that it meant "World Products, Dart S/R". Can't remember what my numbers were, but I think they could be codes for chamber volume, valve dimensions etc. However, I do remember that they didn't spell out "Dart" or "World Products" anywhere.
