Sparkplug wires for a BBC with headers?

Anyone here got at good set of sparkplug wires to recommend?

I've got a 396 with sanderson shorty headers and I've got clearance issues with the ones I bought!
Iv'e tried both standard 90deg and straight ones but none of them fits any good. They allways seems to touch the tubes somewhere.

I like the MSD's with adjustable boots. I'm able to adjust each one to the best angle for each cylinder.

Ok...
So, any downsides with the fully adjustable ones?
Or is it just a matter of taste?

I used THESE from MSD. 8.5mm 8cyl HEI - cut to your needs and the boots are bendable to your headers. I have Sandersons shorties BB3 on my '69 and these worked great. I used loom guides that follow the sides of the valve covers. There might be a picture or two in my photobucket link in my sig.

'69 SS396 -Build Thread A mishmash of American made suspension components and Australian brakes. L33 obtained, swap in planning phase.

Accel makes a wire that is heat resistant. Thats what I had to use, 1 wire touches the header tube. I think it was #5, that touched.

I think they are called Extreme 9000.
