Delco Starter Motor ID

I have two Delco-REmy starter motors. One is 1108782 and the other is 1998248. Any one know the application of each? Thanks.

Re: Delco Starter Motor ID

If either of these starters have the cast iron nose, and it looks like the 1998248 does, You need to hang on to them. IMO, they are most desired as they do not break as the alloy snouts do. They proll have more winding on the armature and field coils.
