67 Chevelle big block headers

Hi all, newbie to this site, longtime reader, first time poster. Lots of great information here.
My question: I'm building a 67 SS clone, body off frame restoration. It has a 427 big block with 4 speed muncie, power steering and power disc brakes, no air. Soon to have a 12 bolt with 3.56 gears.
Does anyone have a recommendation for headers? Shortys or full length? Primary and collector sizes? Brands to avoid? What has worked for you? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

Congrats on the 1967. A great year car if I do say so. Although I'm not sure how much help I can be, I have a 1967 with a 396, 4 speed and 12 bolt.

I do NOT have power steering or power brakes. I have full length headers with (I think) 2.5 inch collectors. I do not know the brand of headers since they were on the car when we bought it and they are all discolored now from heat.

Sorry I couldn't be more help, but good luck and let us know what you find.

Re: 67 Chevelle big block headers

Karl, Ive got Headmans, and they fit well without mods. Iam sure some others will chime in. A friend of mine has Hooker on his 67, but had to mod #6 if I remember. I'll ck the part # if I can find it and let you know.

I run hedman's as well on my 67 427 1 7/8 primarys with 3 inch collectors with 3 inch all the way back without modification with PS and PB. Do yourself a favor and go full length, the exhaust system possibilities are endless that way. JN
