So I'm hoping Santa Claus puts some Ralley wheels under the Christmas tree for my '71 Fodor. But I've got a tall spindle swap (Caprice) planned for next summer. Anybody run 15x8s on tall spindles? 4.5" Backspacing OK?

Many thanks,
mark.

well, the stock 15X8 rally wheels on my junker parts truck 85 GMC fit nicely on my 94 Caprice. same spindle, so i don't think there would be any clearance issues there. don't know what the backspacing is, however, or how a 94 Caprice wheelwell relates to a 71 Chevelle.

I have early 70s 15x7 rallys on my '70 with tall spindles and 12" discs. Caliper clearance is a little tight but no problems.
