Weld Pro Star vs Billet Street Lite

I have a 69 Chevelle ready for new wheels looking for some advice and opinions. Which wheel would you go with and whats the biggest i can go with in the back without any troubles? Thank guys MERRY CHRISTMAS!

As far as wheel and tire size...I would go into the first sticky thread under wheels and tires. It has several different wheel/tire combos depending on what you prefer. It also has some pictures of some killer rides.

A lot of good info. I wish they all had pictures, but definitely enough to help you out.

Make your measurements and then go to a size calculator website to see the max wheel and tire for your car. You will be able to try several different set ups and tire combos.

I have the same car, I went;

15X8 with 4.5 backspacing - 275/60-15
15X6 with 3.5 backspacing - 215/70-15

Some guys go with a 15X10 with 5.5 backspacing and a 295/50-15. I like the other look myself.

I've got the Pro Stars on mine. You can see them in the link below. 15 x 8 on the rear and 15 x 7 on the front. That's about the size that looks best IMHO. As far as the Pro Stars vs Street Lite they have a pretty similar look. The Street Lites have a little more definition to them. Both are fine looking wheels.

I have have always had Weld Pro Stars (my 69 has the new Weld 2.0) on my street car but I really like the Billet Street Lite.

i have always liked the pro stars but so many people have them. im thinking about buying the billet specialties street lites in the summer.
