BBC Comp cam double roller timing chain installation.

i bought a comp cam double roller timing chain for a 454 big block. i have no idea how to install thing timing chain. i'm stuck on the lower gear. i watched a YouTube video that said the crank gear (lower gear) keyway mark should be in the 12:00 position and the cam gear (upper gear) in the 6:00 position. the part i couldn't figure out is which keyway slot should my crank keyway go in? the lower gear has three key way slots. if someone could, plz give me a run down on how to do this! thanks!!

Re: BBC Comp cam double roller timing chain installation.

i already know that the circle or the "o" needs to point up. but the part im stuck on is which keyway slot (on my lower comp cam gear) does the crank keyway go in? the lower comp cam gear has three notches in it for the keyway to slide in. i could turn the crank for each slot and line it up...im guessing its the slot that's 2:00 from the cirlcle keyway mark.

Re: BBC Comp cam double roller timing chain installation.

I KNOW THEY ARE MARKED WITH A CIRCLE,TRIANGLE, AND SQUARE! there are three keyway notches, i could turn my crank to anyone of them. the notches on the lower comp cam gear are at 2:00,5:00,8:00 if the circles points up. my CRANKSHAFT only has one keyway.
