(been mid 8s with old Lewis hyd 555 and a 250 pill and C16) super excited to see the 7s with this combo, shifted her at 7800 rpms all day and no problems at all ran hard all day and best of all she never got over 185 do to the cooling properties of the e85, really liking this new combo and fuel, cant thank Mike Lewis and Mark Sullens enough on this build. Will keep everyone updated on the nitrous passes and how she does, not to bad for a 3500LB pig and the fact I took her home and cruised her all night afterwards on a the streets raising hell!

Re: Lewis Racing Engines 565

That thing is making some power! Are you going to use E85 and race gas with the nitrous?

Re: Lewis Racing Engines 565

Could you also post a time slip? Curious how the converter is without the nitrous.

Re: Lewis Racing Engines 565

Converter sucks bad with out the nitrous WAY WAY WAY to tight, converter needs at least 200+ worth of juice, im sure I could have drove it to a 8.80 with a looser convert that went to about 5800 instead of 4800 to

Re: Lewis Racing Engines 565

In PTC defense the converter was speced with the intention of spraying the crap out of the car

Was assuming that, why I asked about the time slip.

Re: Lewis Racing Engines 565

9 second car naturally aspirated is pretty fast. I'm curious to see timeslip numbers also, I run motors that size but more compression.

Re: Lewis Racing Engines 565

Car was leaving like it was a sunday drive lol this is the same converter I used to use with my old Lewis HYD 10.57cr 555 and we hit that thing with 250 worth of juice and went consistant 8.60s hit it with a 300-325 pill at one time and have a aledged 8.13 but never could duplicate it. The converter works awesome with nitrous and I think it will really really work good with this new combo with a 300 pill in it and the e85 been a 1.20 60 on the old motor on juice hoping to go 1.15 60 with this combo or who knows maybe even faster, I do know were gonna go 7s with this new motor just not sure how much happy gas its gonna take to do it. If I use to much welllllll then Mikey I will be making another 10 hour drive to see ya!
