How to id Holley with choke horn milled off..

I just picked up this Holley.
The guy said its a 750, it has 4 corner circuits on it.. But the choke horn was milled off

Is there anyway to tell what carb or cfm it actually is?

Looks like a 750, it has down leg boosters.
Sometimes you can get lucky and it might have 4779 on a metering block.
Do the throttle plates have 172's and 173's?
850's will have 180 on the throttle plates.
800's usually have a 50 cc pump in the rear.
600, 650, 700's all have straight boosters.

I was going to "guess" the same. The number on the butterfly is an identifier, and like was said, it looks like it has a 30cc rear pump arm. Other thing is, I'm pretty sure you can measure a bore diameter difference compared to your 650.

Yeah the butterflys have 172/173 on them

I was just curious how to Identify, I could compare it to my 4777 and look in te Holley book.

Thanks guys

Measure the diameter of the venturis & the diameter of the throttle bores. Then match up with specs in your Holley book.

The metering blocks often have the carb's list # stamped on them in some form or fashion... might be possible to deduce that, then look it up in the Holley listing
