454 + .040, 781 heads with large valves, 10-1 CR, 60204 Voodoo cam, Performer RPM intake, 770 SA Holley carb, 3000 stall, 4.11 gears, street driven

What would be the best choice in plug part numbers?

I think the UR4 or UR5 is the part number for the NGK's. Just off the top of my head. I like the extended tip which I think is the UR4. ??

x2. The Autolite is a better plug than either the NGK or the Delco. I had a friend that was knocking the tips off of NGK's in his 17-1 compression race bike. A racing companion told him to go to Autolites and he didn't have any more plug related issues. If you use nitrous never use extended tip plugs.

Use Autolites if you want to change plugs every 20-30 passes Thats my experience with the Autolites and their cut back electrode. I can run two sets of NGK's all year long now, same with Delcos when I had iron heads.

Was that with the Autolite racing plugs or just the plain ol' copper core ones?

Thanks!!

The racing plugs with the cut back electrode, but to their defense I may have been running a plug that was too cold. They just didnt work for me.
