For removing original glass I use brake cleaner in spray can, remove any bulk adhesive then spray the brake cleaner onto just the adhesive, inside and outside, cover your dash and anything else you want to keep clean first. The brake cleaner will emulsify eat and soften adhesive, simply push out windshield, no tools, no cracks chips or frustration. Mating surfaces need thorough cleaning before reinstalling.

In the Pittsburgh area, Jeffs Auto Glass uses Urethane and does nice clean work..
