Wax and grease remover alternative.

I just ran out and am using it to sight down my panels after block sanding, to check for straightness. My body supply house is a half hour drive. I have a Home Depot 5 minutes away, is there something I could use from Home Depot that will do the same thing.

No. Acetone will soften and damage the primer, plus, it evaporates so fast you'd never get a look at it.

I can't think of anything that HD would have that would work as well as cleaner. Don't know if mineral spirits would leave a residue that would fisheye. An alternative I know would work, but is expensive... use a slow urethane reducer.

Authentication and pre-purchase inspection service still available. PM me for more information.
Still looking for that elusive 76 Nova SS.
