Question 1967 & 1966 Chevelle Antenna Placement

Hey was up everyone. I hope you guys can help me out. I want to know where you guys are placing your antenna's. In the front or the rear? and what style? If you guys can post up some pictures so I can get an idea of what look I like. Thanks everyone.

Re: 1967 & 1966 Chevelle Antenna Placement

I think the antenna on the rear looks better.
Normally, AM/FM came with a front fender antenna. AM only came with a rear antenna.
My car originally had a front antenna. I replaced the fender (which I shouldn't have and still have the original).
I opted for NO visible antenna. I have the antenna mounted under the dash.

like stated above if the car has a factory AM/FM radio it got a fixed front fender mounted antenna. if only AM you still got it on the front fender but it was a telescopic antenna. if you ordered the factory power antenna you got it mounted on the passenger rear quarter

Thanks for the informations guy. I would love to see some pictures to see what look I want to go for. I am doing a mix of a pro touring and original car type of deal and I want to make sure that the antenna just goes with the look I am trying to get.

I think the rear mount solid mast antenna looks out of place. My first 66 had rear mount.
