Question mixing base coat clear coat PPG paint

I have a question on how to mix the base paint, and the clear paint I would like to try ,And paint some parts that i have, and I was wondering If anyone can help me with the mixing or what racial. Thank In Advance.

Base is 1:1 with the reducer. Clear is 3:1:1 (3) clear to (1) reducer to (1) actovater.

67 Chevelle (project) 02 6.0 stroked to 402ci, twin 62-1 turbos,.68 AR, 38mm WG's, Victor Jr., Wilson 90* elbow, Accufab 80mm TB, Viper T56 M6, McLeod bellhousing.

Yes and No on the above answer.
DBC is 1:1
DBU is 1:1.5

Clears range from anywhere to 4:1 to 2:1

What products are you using? Are they PPG brand products or the value line OMNI paint?

DBC black is 1: 1/4-1/2.
Get the numbers off the can and find the info here or post again.

Omni is PPG's value line. Less expensive, but doesn't have the color match of DBC or DBU. Not a big factor unles you're doing late model repairs.
I've found it to be pretty good, not real fond of the single stage.
Go to the link I posted, put your cursor over the Product Info tab, then Paint Lines, then OMNI. With this site, don't click until you get to OMNI the first two steps require just moving the mouse over the words.
