Has anyone ever used the Dart sm blk dual plane intake that looks identical to the air gap by edelbrock? The reason Im asking is because Im having trouble with my air gap sealing on the underside thats allowing oil into the heads and fouling the plugs? Anyway just wondering what you thought about that manifold?
it looks like a Dart version of what you already have. Have you checked your intake to make sure it`s flat? Where is it leaking at? does it line up with the runners, ect? Before i spent another $250 on a intake i would try to see if I could get mine fixed first. try contacting edelbrock and see if they can help.
My buddy is running the standard runner Dart intake, similar to the standard RPM. it`s on a 327 and he seems happy with it.
Ya' mean the Edelbrock that looks like the Dart. I would see if good ole' Vic will help you out. It's very possible that your manifold slipped on the mill table. Pull it off and check out the flages where it bolts down. Use a protracter to see if they were cut on the right angle for your heads. An 18 deg. manifold won't work well on 23 deg. heads and vise versa.
I do have trick flow 23 degree heads but do you know what degree a edelbrock rpm air gap 7501 is or how do you measure it?:clonk:
